Hastings Arboretum starts fund raising

The Hastings Highland Park Arboretum Planning Committee began the start of a fund raising drive to construct a pavilion in Highland Park Arboretum. Ron Seymour says the pavilion should be a great addition to the Arboretum. The Pavilion Seymour says can be utilized by the entire community, so the committee is asking the public to support the project through fund raising. The anticipated total cost of the project is $80,000. The committee hopes to complete the fund raising drive by early 2013, so construction may begin on Arbor Day, April 26, 2013.
