Celebrating a Sweet 16 Season

The Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team will hold its annual postseason banquet on Sunday, January 27th and the event is open to the public.

Cost is $ 20.00 per person. Tickets can be purchased in the UNK main athletic office or by contacting assistant coach Amy Refenes at Gillespiead@unk.edu or

The banquet, starting at 5:00 p.m., will be held at Kearney's Holiday Inn (110 S. 2nd Ave.) and includes dinner, awards, coach and senior remarks and the 2012 highlight video.

UNK went 35-3 this past fall, winning the MIAA regular season and tournament titles, advancing to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA’s and finishing 3rd in the final national poll
