Currently on the Hamilton roster is defensive tackle Terrence Moore (Nebraska), quarterback Jeremiah Masoli (Oregon, Ole Miss & Omaha Nighthawks) and running back C.J. Gable (USC & Nebraska Danger)

As a senior in 2011, Hobbs had 54 tackles (36 solo), 18 pass break ups and six interceptions for 295 yards. In a win over Northeastern State (Okla.), he had three INTís for a Division II-record 214 yards, bringing back two of those picks for scores.

Hobbs joins offensive linemen Ryan Bachman (Ponca), who played with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2004-05, as Lopers to have recently played in the CFL.

Two other Lopers, defensive end Mason Brodine (St. Louis Rams) and offensive linemen Stephen Goodin (New York Giants), are on NFL rosters.
