Stenberg considering run at governor

Nebraska State Treasurer Don Stenberg says he's pondering a run for governor.
Stenberg said yesterday that it's "unlikely, but possible" that he'll jump into the 2014 race. Stenberg says he previously had planned to seek re-election as state treasurer, but is now considering a run for governor in the wake of Lt. Gov. Rick Sheehy's resignation. Stenberg, a former attorney general has mounted four unsuccessful campaigns for U.S. Senate since 1996. He says that if he chooses not to for governor, he'll likely seek re-election as state treasurer.
