Injuries sustained in GI accident
Posted: 07/18/12 08:31 A motor vehicle accident in Hall County has resulted with an injury. Shortly after 2pm yesterday, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an injury accident involving a gravel truck and a pickup truck. The accident occurred at the intersection of Cameron and Cedarview Road in rural Hall County. 52-year-old Jim Marsh of Shelton collided with the pickup driven by 34 year-old Chad Ott from Aurora. After impact the gravel truck rolled over on its driver’s side into the southwest ditch. The pickup remained upright but also left the roadway sliding into the northwest ditch. Ott had two passengers in his pickup. All four individuals were transported to St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island. Some injuries appeared serious in nature, unknown if life threatening. This accident investigation is ongoing, and no criminal charges were filed at the time. |
