GI police continue search for robbery suspect

Grand Island police continue to search for the man suspected of robbing the Wells Fargo Bank on Second Street earlier this week. GI Police released a description of the suspect. Described as black, between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 155 pounds. He was wearing a camouflaged coat, blue jeans and sneakers when he entered the Wells Fargo Bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, taking an undetermined amount of cash. The robber didn’t display a weapon, and no one was injured.
