Commit #21 For Husker Football

The Nebraska football team has picked up a commitment from a 6-foot-4, 240-pound tight end from Metairie, Louisiana. Cethan Carter helped his high school win the Class 5A title last month, catching five passes for 74 yards and a touchdown in a 35-14 win. He turned down other scholarship offers from Southern Mississippi, Louisiana-Lafayette and Memphis among others. Carter does hold a grayshirt offer from LSU, meaning he wouldn’t earn a scholarship until January of 2014 when he would officially join the Tigers program. He can’t make his commitment to Nebraska official until signing day on February 6th.
