NRD's come together to make a deal on the Blue River

An Inter-local agreement with the Little Blue NRD and the Upper Big Blue NRD was passed last night at the Hastings City Council Meeting as the City Of Hastings continues to prepare for the cost of fighting nitrates in the groundwater. Hastings Utilities Director Marv Schultes. Everett Goebel says Hastings Utilities has done a lot of work on this project. Mayor Vern Powers says it’s important to get the NRD’s involved as the cost will be in the millions for this water project.
