Driver pleads Not Guilty to manslaughter case|
A 56-year-old dump truck driver has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter in the crash death of a Kearney woman last summer. Prosecutors say Lyle Carman was under the influence of meth on June 7 when his truck struck Raven Addy-Cruz's car in Interstate 80 in Lincoln. The 23-year-old woman died two days later. Her husband, Edgar Cruz, suffered eight broken ribs. Their 13-month-old daughter, Hazel, was in a car seat and was not injured.
